Thecla's enthusiasm for the mission was contagious. it was brimming over in her words, in her dreams, in her prophetic apostolic  Ventures. Her whole life had been marked by a missionary's anxiety: to do good to souls, souls first and foremost. The same universal spirit which animated St Alberione in Maestra Thecla, to be passed on to her Daughters. She wrote: "The Lord has called us to the most beautiful apostolate; he has put into our hands the most effective means. Let us lend our feet to the Gospel: that it may run and be widely known!" 'How many people do not know the Lord! millions... It is easy to read the statistics on paper, but when you actually see the number of people, old and young, of different languages and cultures and religions walking the streets of some cities, one is urged to move out from the shell and reach out to them. They are our brothers and sisters to whom we are sent through our mission, which embraces the whole world.
