Reflections and prayers for Eucharistic Adoration to deepen our own understanding, In response to the Pope's Invitation to kneel at the feet of Jesus in an attitude of prayerful adoration, the author prepared the reflections and prayers based on the Gospel of Luke. We are invited to join Jesus as he sits at the table in order to be strengthened in our discipleship and to experience his healing power in our life today. The year of the Eucharist is a real moment of grace for all of us. The Pope invites all Christians to focus on what is really central and most important in our life, namely: the sacrament of the Eucharist. The reflections and prayers for Eucharist adoration contained in this booklet are a means through which we can deepen our understanding of the Eucharist and its role in our Christian life. As the Pope Suggests, we do this in an attitude of adoration. We sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to him speaking to us, sharing with us his message of eternal life, nourishing us with his Body and Blood, giving us the strength of the Holy Spirit and leading us closer to him and to one another.
