A simple Rosary with 14 sets of verses for each mystery, for Advent, Lent, Easter, Ordinary time. it gives us a way of praying the Rosary that not only helps to overcome monotony and to fend off distractions, but leads to prayerful contemplation of the Life of our Lord while relating the Rosary to the Liturgy Year and to the Mass. Reading, and then reflecting on a Biblical Passage for each Mystery before saying the oral prayers is a very helpful way to pry the Rosary, especially during a Holy Hour or a Prayer Vigil in a church, but for family or personal Prayer, the prayerful repetition of a relevant Biblical verse for each Mystery might be preferred. For this we have Sets of Verses from the New Testament and from Isaiah, for each Liturgical Season, i.e. for Advent, Christmas, Ordinary Time 1, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time 2, plus a Set of New Testament verses to link the Rosary with Church/ Sacraments. A fourteenth Set links the Rosary with the Mass. While these Sets of Verses tie in slightly, where possible, with the Liturgical Seasons, they may, of course, be used at any time
