Justina in her simplicity was devoted wholly to Jesus during her temptations and challenges. Besides her vigils, mortifications, and prayers Justina was very devoted to the sign of the cross. She used this often to conquer the devil, especially in the time of difficulties. like St Justina let us also pray for courage and perseverance in time of diffiulties, and remember that our model Jesus Christ passed through the same road. Let us always ask him for the grace, light and strength to be able to carry our cross everyday and follow him. she underwent very many different persecutions but did not give up. She held on to the faith she received till the end. This faithfulness to God bore fruits in her life, in her family, and also in the whole city and finally in the life of her persecutor , Cyprian.
