Since time immemorial, human life has been characterised by experiences in evident polarity. A few examples will suffice joy and sadness, laughter and tears, life and death. Suffering runs through sadness, tears and the extreme, unpleasant reality of death. The experience of suffering is thus part of our human life and it is close to impossible to go through life without some form of suffering. My present book does not aim at establishing the origins of Pandemic. My Aim is to draw attention to the Christian perspectives far as Pandemics are concerned, with emphasis on the faith-message that we can draw from this crisis. Realities are multi-dimensional. The three perspectives which l wish to focus on are the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual aspects. The human person is created with the desire to know, with the ability to feel, and with the capacity to relate with the divine. As we seek to understand and live this time, and all that follows, in the light of the Christian point of view, the intellectual and the emotional will be harmonised in the spiritual perspective.
