This is a devotional book to Mary Our Mother. The painting explains of the prophecy of Gen3:15 and Mary's conquest over evil (serpents). Dear reader and the devoted child of Mary, in your hands is a booklet that introduces you to a novena through Mary under the title, “Mary Untier of Knots.” Our Lady Untier of Knots is recent devotion that began approximately in 1984. Cardinal George Mario Bergoglio, Archbishop of Buenos Aires, today Pope Francis, brought to Argentina (Buenos Aires holy cards with this image which began to make their rounds in other cities as well. The devoted were growing in numbers and everyone wanted to have the image and the prayer through which they were obtaining special graces. So many were those touched by this image that they began to ask for a proper place to venerate it. A group of lay faithful and some missionaries approached the parish priest of San Jose’ del Talar Parish requesting the possibility of having a place where they could “Pray to the virgin Mary” under such invocation. The Paris priest of the time, Fr Rodolfo, accepted, so after overcoming some difficulties, with, Mary’s help, who undoubtedly wanted to remain there, all the Knots began to untangle and on December 8, 1996, this image, a faithful reproduction of the one in Ausburg was blessed and enthroned in that parish.
