He is of the family of Adam and Eve. Jesus could think. Jesus could choose between right and wrong and do what he wanted to do; he had free will. We share these gifts too. We are human. Jesus is also human. What did belonging to the family of Adam and Eve mean for Jesus? Belonging to the family of Adam and Eve meant that Jesus is fully human. Who was it that would strike at the head of Satan? Jesus was the ‘child’ of Eve who struck at the head of Satan.
