Combination of two stories, written by different authors

  1. The Three Stone- breaks – By Damgu

Reflection on this story;

The three stone-breakers were doing the same work and yet they were different. What is it that made them different?

There are many boys and girls in our town, and they do more or less the same things; they go to school, study, play, work, walk on the streets, etc. What is it that makes them different?

If one day, someone came to our school and asked you, ‘What are you doing here?’ which answers would he receive?

Why do you go to school? Is it because your parents sent you, or because you choose to and want to learn and prepare yourself for a useful life as a good citizen of your country?

2.Andy Listens to His Grandma and Saves Himself a lot of Trouble – By Brother Raymond

Lessons learnt from the story;

  • Not all sweet sellers are bad
  • Keeping a secret was difficult
  • Thieves should all be caught and punished
  • Gossiping is bad
