Being polite means saying and doing kind things. Remembering to say “please” and “thank you,” saying “hello” to visitors, or opening the door for your mom are some ways to be polite. When you are polite, others enjoy being around you. The Bible tells us to be kind to each other (Ephesians 4: 32)

Consideration is thinking about others before yourself. Everyone appreciates kind deeds, and baking some cookies with your parents for a friend or neighbor can be a thoughtful thing to do. In the Bible it says to think of others before yourself. (Philippians 2:4)
