What the Bible does is to remind us of God's interventions registered in scripture. These meetings are always the beginning of multiform adventures between God and man. Year after year we try, in different ways, to articulate the fruitfulness of the visits that the Logos pays to men and women of the continent. This work intends to refresh such attempts, by trying to delve into them. It will be done by taking into account events such as the celebrations of the Pauline year, the Synod on the Word of God and the second African Synod. Daring, aggressive, esoteric groups and so-called revival churches seek the glare of publicity. How can such trends be avoided?
