Educative colouring books for children, presenting various biblical characters in very simple language

Long before Christ was born, the Prophet Samuel ruled as judge over the Israelites. When he grew old, the people demanded a king. Samuel thought it was wrong for the people to have a king because only God was the King. Samuel prayed and the Lord accepted the people’s request. Samuel was told to appoint Saul, the son of Kish. Samuel became the first King of Israel. After sometime, Saul became proud, and betrayed his mission from God. One day, Saul offered a sacrifice to the Lord without waiting for Samuel who was the only one who could offer the Sacrifices to the Lord. The Lord was sorry for making Saul the King because he was not faithful to the Lord. The Lord told Samuel to choose another king from the sons of Jesse. Samuel went to see Jesse and his sons. The Lord did not choose any of the sons standing before him. Samuel asked, “Are these all the sons you have?” Jesse replied, “There is still the youngest. He is tending the sheep,” and he called his youngest son, David.
