"The Church in Mission in the Light of Ecclesia in Africa" is a contribution of the Author to the already advanced discussion of inculturation. It combines three books that the Author developed during his teaching experience in Nigeria: "The Church as a Family of God (Ujamaa); "Building Unity Together in the Mission of the Church" and "Missionary Ecclesiology" This trilogy is an answer to the invitation of Pope Paul visit, "to have an African Christianity" (Kampala 1969) and an answer to the challenge of the Synod Bishops for Africa to inculturation: "Inculturation includes the whole life of the Church and the whole process of evangelization. It includes theology, liturgy, the Church's life an structures" (EA n 62). The Author, following the recommendation of Pope John Paul ll develops here an "ecclesiology focused on the idea of the Church as Family of God" (EA N. 63)
