great little man, who died at age 87 in 1971. His name: James Alberione. James
Alberione was born on 4th April, 1884 in a little town near Alba, in
northern Italy. His Large family lived on a farm where everybody, from the youngest
to the oldest, worked hard in the field in order to secure from the owner
sufficient means to lead poor but decent lives. James was so weak and frail at
birth that it was thought better to baptize him immediately.
