Patrick built more churches in Tara and many of the inhabitants came flocking his church. He also received the two daughters of the king. King Laoghaire had permitted his entire household to follow Patrick, although he himself would join him. Patrick continued to gain many followers. Every evening, he gathered the people together and told them about Jesus and his love for mankind. News about him spread throughout the countryside and many people came to him. Some confessed their sins and many others were baptised. Patrick saw this as a sign from God. He felt comforted that his dream for many years had come true. Patrick built more churches in Ireland and converted so many people. He travelled with his followers all over the Island to spread the good news about Jesus. He later built convents and monasteries, saying that these places would produce men and women who would carry on the work of God.
