The present book, in its simplicity, tries to equip the Christians with the basic knowledge and understanding of some of the main features of the Islamic faith. It is a way of helping Christians to discover the gifts that Islam can offer. Through a constructive dialogue Christians and Muslims will be able to discover each other's gifts and to exchange them, thus enriching the whole of humanity. This exchange will take place when the followers of both religions free themselves from prejudice, intolerance and fundamentalism. At the same time, it challenges all Christians to deepen their own faith. It is only through greater knowledge, appreciation, respect and love for what one believes that dialogue becomes possible and effective.
