This book is the fruit of twenty-five years of experiencing the Gospel as a narrative Catechesis. It is guided by two unique criteria. The first is that the gospels, more than written for exegetes, are recounted memories to celebrate one's faith and to propose it to others. The second is that, they clearly tell what they want to communicate. It is a new form of commentary, following the ancient method of Lection Divina. It is a simple reading , full of meaning, which searches in the word He who speaks, in order to enter into dialogue with Him, and in this way to know Him, to love Him, and to follow Him more closely. This book has by now become " The manual" of the lectio on the Gospel of Mark.
