The echo of the celebration of the year of Consecrated Life resounds in our hearts with Pope Francis' call addressed to us: wake up the world, follow the Lord in a prophetic way, be heralds of the joy of the Gospel. In his exhortations, we are reminded of St John Paul II's affirmation: "The Church needs the spiritual and apostolic contribution of a renewed and revitalised consecrated life." This Dicastery has received a lot of positive feedback on experiences that consecrated men and women from every continent had in Rome during this Holy Year of grace for the Church: the prayer vigils that opened all of the convocations and the Eucharistic celebrations that closed them, the ecumenical meeting of consecrated people of different Churches, the meeting for formators, the meeting for consecrated youth, the special time that called all forms of consecrated life into communion.
