This booklet was produced on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the birth to heaven of Venerable Sr Thecla Merlo, co-foundress and first Superior General of the Daughters of St Paul. It contains a series of her thoughts taken from the book, Semi di Sapienza per il Cristiano di Oggi, FSP Editions, a thematic collection of "pearls" drawn from her conferences and meditations to the Daughters of St Paul (Un cuor solo, un'anima sola. Conferenze-meditazioni 1954-1963; Vi porto nel cuore. Letter Circolari [26 December 1929 to 23 September 1963]) we hope that these "seeds" of her wisdom of life will find welcoming soil in the hearts of many and will spark in them the desire to become, in turn sowers of joy.
