Pope Francis has declared 2021 as the year dedicated to St Joseph, the foster father of Jesus and husband of Mary. This year is a real moment for our spiritual renewal and to seek St Joseph’s protection for the Universal Church as we continue to live the difficult times caused by Covid-19 pandemic. This prayer book will help us discover in St Joseph, the man who goes unnoticed, a daily, discreet and hidden presence- an intercessor, a support and a guide in times of trouble. St Joseph reminds us that those who appear hidden or in the shadows can play an incomparable role in the history of Salvation (Patris corde). Special prayers are offered to St Joseph each Wednesday and especially during the month of March, which is traditionally dedicated to him. Prayers to St Joseph may be said any day and during his Feast Days: May 1, Saint Joseph the Worker, March 19, the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, The Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
